Website Guidelines

We welcome criticism with wide open arms, good solid debates are good as gold (even better, some might say, since it doesn’t quite inspire greed). But if your argument is littered with unfounded hatred and downright cruelty for a human being, please note that it will be deleted and actions to keep you from commenting in the future will be taken.

The team behind Grafted Magazine are all very opinionated people and will on occasion be wrong about things. They will also post about “controversial” topics, we will attempt to address them in a respectable way and ask that you respond in such manner.

Here are some acceptable things you may do on Grafted Magazine:

  • Call out wrong theology. We don’t want to be wrong or lead others down an incorrect path. You can do this by saying something like “This is a direct violation of such-and-such verse, you may want to check it out!”. We’ll look it up, learn from our mistakes and give you a cookie.

  • Say “I don’t agree and here is why, but I don’t think you’re a terrible person for believing this”

  • Compliment our contributors

  • Share stories about yourself

  • Say “what the heckie buckaroo” instead of cursing.

Here are things that are not nice/rude and we do not allow on our site:

  • Anything that demeans another human, this includes racial and sexual slurs of any type. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6

    • This means no targeting anyone based on their physical appearance, ideals, beliefs no matter how much you dislike them.

  • No cursing or crude remarks in your comments, please and thank you.

In general, be a nice human being and we’ll all get along fine.
